Spreading Freedom through the voting booth

The lack of transparency in politics has aided heavily in the downfall of democracy. People are voting based on campaign ads and town hall speeches and ignoring the voting records of their representatives. Elect The Revolution is a movement dedicated to educating constituents on who their Representatives really are and where their loyalties lie. 

New York City New Jails Bill

On Thursday October 17th 36 New York City Council Members voted to spend up to  $11 Billion on four new jails in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens.

New York State Marijuana Decriminalization

New York State decriminalized the use of marijuana in mid 2019. The bill also contained the release of non-violent offenders who, under the new law, would never have been jailed. 23 New York State Senators voted against this bill.
